I had a business meeting at this hotel on 12/24/14 and I gave my book a portrait, with Dr. Phil in the background.
My photograph of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird will be on display at the Festival de l’Oiseau et de la Nature, over in Le Crotoy, France, from April 9-17. It’s the Festival of Birds and Nature, for those who don’t know French. What an honor. I feel like a jazzman, appreciated on the Continent.
Movie star and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been supportive of my bird photography over the years, and recently, he graciously posed with me and my book BACKYARD BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY. Thank you, Mr. Governor.
The nice folks at Woman’s World magazine asked for a photograph of me pouring sugar water into my hummingbird feeder, so I got out there today and did just that. They also asked for a hummingbird photo as well. The article should be very nice, by Kristina Mastrocola of Woman’s World.
The Art of Backyard Bird Photography display for my shows, picked up at The Icon the other day. Photograph by Luis Diaz.
