Mathew Tekulsky with MLK book

The Martin Luther King Mitzvah

Mathew Tekulsky's novel is a timeless story of two kids who defy the odds, unite a town, and make a brave stand against discrimination.

The Mart Barber Shop collection

I was in at the Mart Barber Shop the other day and took a snap of me in the mirror and a couple of my photographs that have been up on the wall there for a number of years. The one at the left is a Yellow Warbler on a giant tortoise in the Galapagos, and the pelican is from Lake Balboa, a park over in the San Fernando Valley. I took some good photographs in the old days after I got my original Canon Digital Rebel camera in 2004. IMG_0087mathew_tekulsky_tom_barillier_mart_barber_shop_e_raw_crop

Robert Iger, Me, and Backyard Bird Photography

It’s not every day that you get to present your book to the Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, but Bob, ever gracious, posed with me and my book. A really nice gesture. When I showed him the inscription in the book, he said, “Oh, that’s nice.” I said to Bob, “Would you be in a picture with me and the book, I won’t post it, I’ll just save it for personal use,” and he said, “You can post it.” So here it is, along with the dedication. A great moment, indeed.IMG_0137mathew_tekulsky_robert_iger_backyard_bird_photography_e_raw_cropIMG_0626bayliss_backyard_bird_photography_bob_iger_inscription_e_raw_crop
