My friend photographer David Hume Kennerly came up with this idea for a portrait and I tried a few on my own. It seems to work. What a surprise.

“The Art of Backyard Bird Photography” runs from July 2-July 30, 2016, including 20 bird photographs from my book BACKYARD BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY. I’m here at the opening of the show.
