SFVAS meeting with Kelly O’Reilly
Kelly O’Reilly, environmental scientist with the California Department of Fish and Game, gave a lecture at our meeting San Fernando Valley Audubon Society meeting tonight on the threatened and endangered birds of Bolsa Chica. Hangin’ in the Valley
Before the SFVAS meeting last night, photographer Dave Collins did a portrait of me holding a printout of my book cover for BACKYARD BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY. The book hasn’t hit the warehouse yet, but I understand a number of thousands of copies have already sold. This is a good omen.

After the SFVAS board meeting, photographer Jackie Wollner was kind enough to take a picture of me holding a print of the book cover. The book probably exists by now and is being shipped from China.
