Don’t let the little creepy crawlies get you. Photos by Rose Leibowitz.
Put on by the Western National Parks Association, special thanks to Sophia Wong, events manager at the Santa Monica Mountains Visitor Center at the King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas, October 18. And thanks to Peter Barash for taking these photographs of me and for hanging out all day and helping. I had a lot of fun meeting the people and signing my book.
In Santa Monica this morning, just after a little drizzle. A nice person took my picture in front of the rainbows (see the one on top?) with my book. Hey, what’s an author to do?
I gave my lecture based on my Roger Tory Peterson exhibition of 30 backyard birds, at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute in Jamestown, NY from January 13 through March 8, 2015. The photos are selected from my book BACKYARD BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY. Thanks to Rose Leibowitz for taking this photo of me.
ON THE IPHONE: SECRETS AND TIPS FROM A PULITZER PRIZE-WINNING PHOTOGRAPHER is the book, just off the press. David just received his advance copy yesterday and proudly displays it this morning.
