Anna Fisher interview on Apollo 11 anniversary
Astronaut Anna Fisher on TV today. I interviewed her in 1979 for FAMILY WEEKLY magazine, along with Judith Resnik (who died in the Challenger disaster). You can see Judy to the right of Anna in the magazine cover shot. Meanwhile, here I am with my magazine and the Resnik/Fisher audiocassette tapes (which includes Judy, Anna, and her husband Bill Fisher, seen here alongside Anna today in the interview on FOX with their daughter Kristin Fisher). I donated these audiocassettes to NASA in 2012.

Backyard Bird Photography and Art of Hummingbird Gardening books
I visited the Wildling Museum in Solvang, CA recently and saw my books there. It’s a great museum and they displayed a Willow Flycatcher photograph of mine in an endangered species exhibition many years ago. I’m hoping for a solo show of my bird photographs there someday. We’ll see.
