When you are involved with natural history, everything is connected, whether it’s the birds; or the glaciers that created the great mountain ranges; or the men like John Burroughs, who promoted the idea of exploring nature as a recreational activity—even the monuments that people create through their civilization. With my writing and photography, I hope to keep the tradition of keeping a record of your natural history alive for all of us to learn from and enjoy.
